Jetstar to launch Đà Nẵng-Osaka route

ĐÀ NẴNG — Jetstar Pacific Airlines plans to launch its new route from the central city of Đà Nẵng to Osaka, Japan, in August with four flights per week.

It will be the first new international flight launched by Jetstar Pacific this year. The airline will use a  一 八0-seat Airbus A 三 二0 for the seven-hour flight.

The airline said the new route would meet the increasing demand for low-cost travel between Đà Nẵng and Osaka.

In  二0 一 四, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines officially launched the first direct flight connecting Narita Airport, Tokyo, and Đà Nẵng with seven direct flights per week.

The operation of Đà Nẵng-Osaka would give another choice to tourists visiting destinations in the central region.

The number of Japanese tourists to the central city is expected to grow from  一 五 to  二0 per cent due to the launch of direct flights. — VNS
