White Truffle & Parmesan Popcorn

Here is the popcorn recipe I was telling you about. It’s so yummy and definitely a treat! Be warned, once you try it you may become addicted!
1 cup popcorn kernels
2 Tbsp butter
1 tsp White Truffle Oil
¾ cup Parmesan Cheese
Grate Parmesan cheese, I like to grate my own I think it tastes better. Set aside. Melt butter on medium heat in a pan. Once melted add in White Truffle Oil. Turn heat off so you don’t burn the mixture. In a large pot cover bottom with olive oil, pour in kernels, turn burner to medium high heat. Put lid on top of pot keep the pot moving until popping slows down. If the pot stands still the popcorn will burn. Pour popcorn in a large bowl. Pour Parmesan cheese while tossing popcorn. Then pour butter & truffle mixture while tossing the popcorn. It’s important to do this right after the kernels are popped because if it cools down it won’t melt the cheese so it sticks to the popcorn. If you have a popcorn maker you can use that. I have one (The photo above) and it has holes at the top of the lid, so I put the butter on top and cover with foil. As the butter melts it will drip onto the popcorn. Once it’s popped I will add the White Truffle Oil and Parmesan cheese while tossing.
