I love popcorn! Seriously. It is my go-to dessert. It is so simple to make and really hits the spot when I am craving something salty. Today I thought I would share with you three of the easiest popcorn recipes.
Four years ago, when I first started blogging and had no idea what I was doing, I shared this post. When I originally published this post I only had one recipe, Parmesan and white truffle oil. I decided to revamp that post and add two more recipes PLUS a video! (coming soon)
These recipes are simple to make and they add a little something extra to regular popcorn. Another great thing about these recipes is the measurements are all according to taste. You don’t have to worry about getting a specific measurement. Put in as much or as little that tastes good to you. I would recommend starting with a little each added ingredient because you can always add more but you can’t take away.
Parmesan & White Truffle
What you need:
-White Truffle Oil
-Shredded Parmesan cheese
Once the popcorn is popped and place in a bowl, drizzle the white truffle oil over the top. You don’t want too much because it is very concentrated. Then sprinkle the Parmesan on top and toss. It is seriously that easy!
-Shredded White Cheddar cheese
After the popcorn has been popped and is in the desired bowl, simply sprinkle white Cheddar cheese on top. Try to do this when the popcorn is still hot that way it sticks!
-Baking Chocolate of choice (I used Dark Chocolate Chips, also you won’t need an entire package)
Melt the chocolate according to the package. Then place the popcorn on the cookie sheet. Take the fork and scoop up some of the chocolate and drizzle it over the popcorn. Let is set for about 30-45 minutes till the chocolate it dry. This would be a great thing to make before dinner and by the time you finish eating it will be ready!
There you have it, a simple and fun way to liven up a classic dessert! What is your favorite way to eat popcorn?
