If you have been following my blog lately you know I love football and tailgating. I recently shared A Tailgating Story. The story is my experience of tailgating at The University of Georgia. If you are looking for a very quick easy read this is a great story! I also shared a free Tailgating Checklist. It will keep you organized for your next game! Finally, I created a playlist that is sure to set the mood for any pregame festivities. Today I am going to share with you my favorite dip to make for any tailgate or party!
First things first, here’s what you need.
8 oz. Cream Cheese
8 oz. Monteray Jack Cheese with Jalepeños
8 oz. Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese
2 15 oz. Cans of Corn
Spray inside of crock pot with non-stick spray
Place cream cheese, in pieces, in crock pot set on high
Drain and rinse corn
Place shredded cheese, corn, and diced jalepeño (to taste) in crock pot
Stir dip every 5 minutes to prevent cheese from burning and after 10 minutes stir in corn
After 25ish minutes dip should be ready and turn crock pot to warm
Tips: You can use already shredded cheese to make it easier on you. I like to shred the cheese myself, I think it tastes better. After tasting the dip, decide if you need more heat and add more diced jalepeños.
Now it’s your turn! I want to hear what your go to dip is for parties or tailgating. Let me know in the comments below!
