As I was working on my October schedule for the blog I began to think about the tools I use on a daily basis. I love items that help me stay organized. Today I am going to share with you the items I use everyday to help me stay organized and successful.
Logitech Keyboard Solar Powered
Logitech Wireless Solar Desktop Keyboard K750 for Mac – Silver
I love this keyboard! Not only is it super stylish but its low profile keys and slim design makes it easy and comfortable to use. I have used keyboards that sit higher on a desk and after an hour or two my wrists begin to ache. The Logitech keyboard allows for hours of typing in comfort. I’ve had this keyboard for about a year and has held up beautifully. If you do not have a comfortable keyboard, I would recommend this one.
This planner may seem less “flashy” than some you can order on Etsy but let me just say I am obsessed with it. The size is perfect for scheduling on the monthly view. Sometimes calendars are so small that I can barely fit two items on each day in the month view. On the daily view, there is plenty of room to create you schedule for the day. Since it is a teacher’s planner it has a great layout for breaking your day down by the hour.
Notebooks are a must have. From webinars, seminars, and informative articles I am constantly writing down notes. For me, physical notes are key. I find them much more effective than electronic notes. This three pack of notebooks is not only a great buy but has a fun design.
Apple Wireless Magic Trackpad
I have been using this trackpad for several years now and really enjoy it. It is very customizable and easy to use. Since it is wireless it takes two AA batteries. The batteries last several months. If you are an Apple user this trackpad pairs well. There are so many shortcuts with the trackpad for an Apple user that makes navigating the computer quick and hassle free.
Logitech M510 Wireless Mouse
If you are not an Apple user or simply do not want to pay over $100 for a mouse/trackpad the Logitech M510 Wireless Mouse is a great option. Logitech is reliable and affordable. This mouse is under $20 and comfortable to use. This particular model has the capability to program a few shortcuts for easy navigation. I highly recommend this mouse.
What good is a journal and calendar if you do not have an instrument to write with? The Pilot G2 is an excellent pen. Not only does it write cleanly but it is affordable. If you are a sucker for a good pen but do not want to break the bank this is the pen for you! Another bonus- They come in several tip sizes so if you are like me, you can buy it in a thick 0.7 variant or a 0.38 variant that my husband prefers.
A Splash Of Color
When I do my scheduling I love to spice things up with some color. I use Paper Mate felt pens to color code tasks in my planner. It adds some dimension and helps keep my schedule organized. I’ve been using these pens since I was in high school, which was over a decade ago. These pens write very well and last a while. Added bonus, they are really fun to doodle with!
There you have it! The five tools I use everyday. What is something you use on a daily basis to either help you blog or keep you organized? Let me know in the comments below!
